Deserve Better

Now pause and really 'grok' the term deserving. (Grok is a term from Robert A. Heinlein’s book, Stranger in a Strange Land.)

It is to intimately and completely share the same reality or line of thinking with another physical or conceptual entity. The Oxford English Dictionary defines it as: to understand intuitively or by empathy; to establish rapport with ‘and’ to empathize or communicate sympathetically (with); lastly, to bohemians of the 1950’s known as beatniks, it is to ‘dig it’. Whenever we talk about worry over the little details of life, it is an effort for others to grok us?  True enough it is the little things that ARE what we measure our success by. No kidding, when your transportation, communication, computer or even utilities get messed up then YOUR LIFE is messed up. Whaaa?
We in the US can be so inculcated in a cocoon of self indulgent entitlement that we're not even aware we're living a privileged life. No?
To my fellow citizens I’d wager, wait until someone cuts in front of you...anywhere...and you'll take it personal...yes, I'd bet on it; and I’m no gambler.
Now this isn't about you, ewe, U.
It's about the notion of taking stuff as a reflection of merit. We earned respect, so gimme gimme, gimme. We deserve better, we're worthy of more than what we get....really?
REAL-LEEEEEEEEE?
Hey, I'm glad you have conveniences....I'm even MORE GLAD I have them, (sorry no slight intended).
So here we are basking in our ability to savor our excellent situations
And then we collectively go off to find something miniscule to complain about...
isn't that the most silly of circumstances?
Celebrate....you are without pain.
Congratulate yourself for being able to not have to violate social norms in order to survive.
Let us be festive in the notion that we can perpetuate this condition for some time without going completely and certifiably insane by delusions over the notion of being in control.
As for me, a little bit crazy makes for a spicy meal. Let us remember as well, too much spice in any recipe will overwhelm the exquisite presentation.
Short version towards living well?
sick 'em
